Certain features of no1.in allow to collect and track metrics, and generate analytics, relating to URLs shortened using no1.in, bundles of shortened URLs created using no1.in and other metrics and analytics related to use of no1.in. These features include, but are not limited to:
- A history of all URLs shortened by a particular Account.
- A history of all clicks on a shortened URL.
- A history of all sharing of a shortened URL through third-party services such as Facebook and Twitter.
- A history of referral URLs for clicks of a shortened URL.
- A history of IP addresses used to access a shortened URL

no1.in may NOT be used creating shortened URLs that:

- Link to malicious content (phishing, viruses, trojans, adware, any other malware)
- Link to any form of pornography
- Link to other URL shortening or redirection sites or scripts (these "chains" of links are often used to hide malicious usage)
- Link to material that infringes copyright
- Link to material we consider unethical including but not limited to "get rich quick" schemes, pyramid schemes, paid "self help" schemes, dubious competitions, sites requiring users to fill out paid surveys and sites with a model that encourges users to spam others (e.g. "Sign up 10 members to get X free")
In addition any use of no1.in and any content linked to must be legal in Switzerland where no1.in is hosted.
URL rejection and removal
We can reject URLs when they are submitted or later remove, disable or redirect shortened URLs for any reason. Our intention is only to do this where they violate our terms or the spirit of fair usage, or we have reason to suspect they do (e.g. if they appear on a blacklist we consult). We're only human and mistakes are occasionally made - we can reinstate disabled shortened URLs if we think it's appropriate to do so.
We need to keep no1.in fast and responsive for everyone so we limit the amount it can be used to levels we consider reasonable. Users may not open more than 5 concurrent connections to is.gd at any time. For automated scripts or programs using our API a specific code is returned for excessive use and your application should wait before retrying your request. If it doesn't do this and continues to hammer you may get blocked.
Our shortened URLs
Our shortened URLs could redirect anywhere, you follow them at your own risk and is.gd is not responsible or liable for content you visit.
Limited Warranties and Liability
no1.in does not make any warranty about the reliability of the Service and does not guarantee the security of user data despite best efforts. The Service is provided “as is” and you agree to not hold no1.in responsible nor to seek indemnification for any damages that may arise as a result of the loss of use, data, or profits connected to the performance of the Service or failure in such performance. Furthermore, you will not hold no1.in liable or seek indemnification if confidential material is unintentionally released as the result of a security failure or vulnerability in the performance of the Service.
You agree thatno1.in, and any parents, subsidiaries, officers, employees, or third party contractors cannot be held responsible for any third party claim, demand, or damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of this Service.
Violation of our terms
If you violate our terms, depending on the severity of the abuse, we may disable shortened URLs you have created or block you from using is.gd (and our other URL shorteners) temporarily or permanently. In cases of severe abuse or illegal usage we may report this to the relevant law enforcement agencies.
Terms of Payment
Due to their nature, the paid Services provided by no1.in are generally non-refundable and any refunds or credits given will be at the sole discretion of no1.in. Paid accounts which are terminated due to a violation of these Terms and Conditions will incur the loss of all payments and credits and are not eligible for refund. If no1.in chooses to issue a refund for any reason, no1.in is only obligated to refund in the original currency of payment. If you request a credit balance to be converted between different currencies which no1.in supports, no1.in has discretion over the exchange rate applied. We have the right to discontinue service immediately if a fraudulent payment is detected, such as the use of a stolen credit card, and such cases may be further referred to the competent authorities. You authorise no1.in to charge any credit card supplied on a monthly or annually re-occurring basis. Credit balances will also automatically be deducted on a monthly or annual basis. You are responsible for keeping card information up to date. Paid accounts that become delinquent may be suspended or eventually deleted after an extended period of delinquency.
Modifications to Terms of Service
Within the limits of applicable law, no1.in reserves the right to review and change this agreement at any time. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms of Service. Continued use of the Service after such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes. We may make improvements and changes to the Service at any time without notice. no1.in may at its sole discretion, terminate service without cause or notice. Although it is not the current practice now, we reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that are inactive for over three months. This does not apply to paid accounts. Paid accounts are never subject to deletion as long as their paid status is active.
This Agreement shall be governed in all respects by the substantive laws of Switzerland. Any controversy, claim, or dispute arising out of or relating to the Agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Canton of Zurich, the jurisdiction of the Swiss Federal Court being expressly reserved.
